UMMC donates equipment to eastern flood victims

__ummc_logoUral Mining and Metallurgical Company has donated equipment for emergency reconstruction to regions in Russia’s Far East affected by autumn-winter seasonal flooding.

Over 1,000 pumps will be donated to the Amur Region Khabarovsk Krai and the Jewish Autonomous Region. They will also receive around 700 electric and liquid fuel heat guns, drainage pumps and chainsaws.

The equipment will cost more than $930,000, and the company will also pay for transportation of the equipment. The total weight of the equipment is around 45 tons and will be sent via aircraft, on Il-76 and Tu-204 airplanes.
