In the recent Randstad Employer Brand Research survey, KGHM has been recognized as a leading employer in Poland, particularly in the raw materials and fuels sector. The company is praised for offering attractive employment conditions and opportunities for professional growth.
Magdalena Lipińska, General Director for Human Resources Management at KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., emphasized the company’s commitment to its employees. “We are aware of the fact that employees are the key foundation of any company. Therefore, we make sure that work at KGHM is not only attractive financially, but also creates opportunities for development, meeting the highest standards in terms of working conditions and safety,” she stated. Lipińska highlighted KGHM’s consistent indexing of wages and additional financial bonuses such as Employee Pension Plans (EPPs) and other benefits.
The survey results indicate that KGHM adapts to labor market demands through its evolving organizational culture. This includes initiatives aimed at both experienced staff and newcomers to their careers. The company invests in employee development by monitoring industry trends and offering training programs to enhance various competencies.
KGHM also provides an appealing benefits package. For instance, through its CUdowni Rodzice program, employees receive gift packages when they have a child. Furthermore, the company fosters community engagement via its Volunteer team who organized 137 initiatives in 2024 alone. The ‘Competent in the Industry’ program aims to bridge education with business by providing technical training for schoolchildren.
Employees at KGHM benefit from comprehensive health care plans and group insurance options. Additional perks include commuting allowances, recreational activity subsidies, sports packages, and preventive medical holidays for eligible employees.
The Randstad Employer Brand Research survey involved 4,600 respondents evaluating 150 major companies across Poland. Conducted annually over 15 years in Poland (and globally for 25 years), this survey included students and both employed and unemployed individuals predominantly aged between 25 to 44 years old.
Survey participants cited KGHM’s strong financial standing, competitive remuneration packages, non-wage benefits, job stability, openness to new technologies, and good reputation as key strengths.
