Zijin Mining Group has been recognized with the highest “AAA” Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) rating by Wind, a prominent Chinese financial data provider. This accolade is part of Wind’s 2025 ESG assessment. Zijin achieved an overall score of 9.08, distinguishing itself as one of only three companies out of 12,297 A-share and Hong Kong-listed firms to receive this top-tier rating. Notably, Zijin is the sole mining company to earn such recognition.

The “AAA” rating signifies outstanding corporate management, minimal ESG risks, and robust sustainability capabilities. Zijin has shown consistent leadership in ESG practices, with high scores across all three pillars—environmental, social, and governance.

Wind serves as China’s leading financial information and software services provider. Its ESG team assesses over 12,000 companies across Greater China, including those listed on the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock exchanges as well as public bond issuers. The evaluation framework includes three core pillars, 29 topics, and more than 2,000 data points to deliver a thorough analysis of long-term ESG fundamentals and short-term risk exposure.

This recognition underscores Zijin’s alignment with global sustainability standards and its ability to navigate evolving market challenges effectively.
